NEBiP welcomes Rwenshaun Miller, mental health advocate, and Dr. David Henderson, Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Medical Center, to the first conch conversation, Injured Reserve List: Mental Health in Black Communities, to have a fireside chat about mental wellness in the Black community.

Dr. Henderson will discuss with Mr. Miller his book, Injured Reserve: A Black Man's Playbook to Manage Being Sidelined by Mental Illness, and they will explain how donors, grantmakers, and the community can support our people's, and especially our young people's, mental wellbeing.

Rwenshaun will have copies of Injured Reserve: A Black Man's Playbook to Manage Being Sidelined by Mental Illness available to purchase and sign after the event.
